Linas Phillips (director of "Walking To Werner") set out to tell the stories of 12 homeless people living in seattle. He asked each of them to learn a historical speech that somehow related to their lives. Tomey Smith, a man living with Aids who is struggling to stay alive and off drugs, performs John Donne's, "No Man Is An Island" in a row boat with the city he feels trapped in looming in the distance.
